Prospective international students
University has been training students from foreign countries since September 1948. During this time more than 1800 specialists for diverse fields of fabric and sewing industry and design from 58 countries of Asia, Africa, Europe and Latin America were graduated from our university. Currently more than 250 students from various countries are studying at the University. More than 40 international doctorate students successfully completed their studies and gained the title of Candidate of Science (equivalent of PhD.) Studying at the University is conducted in Ukrainian or Russian Language (for international students only).
Student enrollment procedure requires submission of the following documents*:
- Completed admission form
- National passport
- Births certificate
- High school certificate
- Medical certificate on general health state issued by a doctor not earlier than 2 months prior to entering Ukraine
- Medical certificate evidencing absence of malaria, HIV-infection and tuberculosis issued by national health authorities not later then 2 months prior to entering Ukraine
- The medical insurance policy from Ukraine's insurer for emergency medical aid (except for those arrived from the countries having bilateral agreements on free of charge provision of emergency medical aid)
- 12 recent passport size photos.
*All the documents must have a notary sealed translation into Ukraine (or Russian) language and be legalized by the Ukraine's diplomatic mission in country where the student comes from.
Prospective international students wishing to study at University have to successfully pass an interview in Ukrainian (or Russian) language and mathematics or chemistry (depending on area of chosen studies); for the Faculty of Design - Ukrainian (or Russian) language, pencil drawing technique, watercolor technique and composition. It is desirable to have own artistic works for presenting to the panel.
Submission of the applications takes place from 29 June till 20 August.
Terms of fulltime studies:
- Bachelor - 4 years
- Specialist - 1 year upon completion of Bachelor degree
- Master - 2 years upon completion of Bachelor degree
- PhD - 3 years upon completion of Master degree
2-year Bachelor Degree course
Our university offers a unique opportunity for overseas Diploma holders specialized in the same or very close to our faculties' fields of study to receive a Bachelor Degree after only two years of study.
This two-year course will help to save your budget as it requires lower course tuition fees.
A prerequisite for this mode of studying is a process of official evaluation and subsequent recognition of major subjects completed as a part of College/ TAFE/ School curriculum. This evaluation will be done at the University by the evaluating panel. Subjects that have not been studied at a College/ TAFE/ School but are an essential part of our faculty curriculum must be completed during 2-year time of his/her studying.

**Fees are shown in US Dollars for the whole academic year and are not changeable. Payment can be done once a year in advance or twice a year on a semester basis. Payments are accepted in UAH according to the official exchange rate actual on the day of payment.
Preliminary courses for international students - 1500 USD per academic year
Graduate course (PhD) - 5000 USD per academic year (3-year course)
Training course - 3000 USD per academic year
Professional development - 500 USD per month
